1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Rentopus platform ("Platform"), you ("Client", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Whitecore Technology LLP ("Rentopus", "we", "us", or "our").
If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
- Bookings and rental orders
- Inventory tracking and availability
- Delivery and return workflows
- Payment collection and invoicing
- Business reports and analytics
- Point of sale (POS) for retail and rental operations
- Automated WhatsApp messaging and customer communication
Rentopus is a B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform designed for clothing rental businesses. The Platform provides tools to manage:
We provide the Platform on a subscription basis and reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
3. Account Registration
- You must register with accurate, current, and complete business information
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately at info@whitecoretechnology.com of any unauthorized access or suspected breach
- One account is permitted per business entity; multiple staff users may be added as permitted by your subscription plan
- We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion
4. Subscription & Payment
- Rentopus plans are billed monthly or annually in Indian Rupees (INR)
- A free trial of up to 30 days is available — no credit card required during the trial period
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date
- No refunds are issued for partial months; annual subscriptions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis if requested within 7 days of renewal
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with a minimum of 30 days' written notice to existing Clients
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access to the Platform
5. Acceptable Use
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
- Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or scrape any part of the Platform
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized users outside your organization
- Use the Platform to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems or infrastructure
- Use automated tools to extract data from the Platform without our express written consent
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful business purposes. You agree NOT to:
6. WhatsApp Automation
- WhatsApp's own platform policies, API availability, and updates made by Meta Platforms, Inc.
- Changes to WhatsApp's Business API or messaging infrastructure at any time
- WhatsApp database availability and message delivery rates at any given time
- Regulatory or policy restrictions imposed by WhatsApp or applicable authorities
Rentopus provides automated WhatsApp messaging features including booking confirmations, delivery reminders, payment receipts, and other customer communications as part of the Platform.
The availability and functionality of these features are subject to:
Rentopus does not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or successful delivery of WhatsApp messages. We are not liable for any failed, delayed, blocked, or undelivered messages resulting from WhatsApp platform changes, policy updates, infrastructure outages, or any other factors beyond our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the WhatsApp integration and will notify Clients of any significant changes or disruptions where possible.
7. Data Ownership
- You retain full ownership of all business data, customer records, and content you enter into the Platform
- We process your data as a Data Processor on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy
- Upon cancellation of your subscription, you may export your data within 30 days of account termination
- After 30 days post-cancellation, your data may be permanently deleted from our systems
- We do not claim any ownership rights over your business data
8. Intellectual Property
- Rentopus, including all associated software, algorithms, user interface designs, logos, trademarks, and content, is owned by Whitecore Technology LLP and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for your internal business operations during the term of your subscription
- You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Platform or any of its components without our prior written consent
9. Availability & Uptime
- We target 99.5% Platform uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service
- Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated to Clients at least 24 hours in advance wherever possible
- We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or disruption caused by:
- Third-party service providers (hosting, payment gateways, WhatsApp, etc.)
- Force majeure events including natural disasters, government actions, or internet outages
- Factors outside our reasonable control
10. Limitation of Liability
- The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied
- We do not warrant that the Platform will meet your specific business requirements or that it will be free from errors
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Rentopus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill
- Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three (3) months immediately preceding the claim
11. Termination
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team
- We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform immediately and without notice if you breach any of these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay subscription fees
- Upon termination for any reason, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately
- The 30-day data export window applies from the date of termination
- Sections 7 (Data Ownership), 8 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Limitation of Liability), and 12 (Governing Law) survive termination
12. Governing Law & Disputes
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat, India
- Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably through email communication within 30 days of the dispute arising
13. Changes to Terms
- Material changes will be communicated to Clients via email or in-platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect
- Non-material changes (such as typographical corrections or clarifications) may be made without prior notice
- Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms
- If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and cancel your subscription
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices.

As required under the IT Act, we have designated a Grievance Officer to address complaints. All complaints will be acknowledged and addressed within 30 days of receipt.
